Next to the rather experimental electronica of ‘The Hageland’, you could also witness the digital release of ‘Spirits in The Forest’ and ‘Dreams Of Canada’. The latter track is a danceable deep house track, but at the same time still somehow dark and experimental. NEVEL continues on this very same path.
With the very organic song Petrichor NEVEL creates the atmosphere
after a thunderstorm.
Petrichor (/ˈpɛtrɪkɔːr/) is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. The word is constructed from Greek petra (πέτρα), "rock", or petros (πέτρος), "stone", and īchōr (ἰχώρ), the fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology.
As always, NEVEL gets inspired by nature rapidly. The outcome is this deep house track with a lot of details in the production work, nice soothing melodies with a lot of ear candy definitely suited for instant potential on the dancefloor but also to enjoy listening with headphones.
